For Love

I Love You Like Bella Loves Edward
7x7"
mixed media on wood block

I made this one for my husband.
He was getting kind of jealous
due to my insane crush on Edward Cullen,
so I did this to make it up to him.
He loved it !!!!!!!
...and made so much fun of his silly wife.

Sweet Encounter

Sweet Encounter

14 x 14"

mixed media on board

I created this one while obviously craving for something sweet. What can ever be more sweet that chocolate brown and bubble gum/cup cake pink? It's a spaceship landing on our planet, packed with treats for their new, terrestrial friends.

Heading East

Just because it's almost summer and I can't wait !!!

Solid and hollow shapes virtually defining my fish,

making you see some behind, some in front.

The Chocolate Castle and the Smiling Rock

I'm trying to diet and exercise, but the more exercise I do, the more hungry I get after I'm done. So what's the point here? To keep me inspired and paint over my candy and chocolate cravings? Oh my. I just feel I wanna eat this chocolate castle! The rock? It was just an excuse to add a smile. I HAD to add a smile to this so very cute pinkalicious piece.

Downtown Rush at Night

I came up with an accidental shape of a ring, the one at the right. I gave him a couple (pimp looking one with animal print and everything). I then wanted to create a night scene, to go with the romance of the two rings. Then a moon, celestial bodies. The idea of the buildings was just the result of playing around with some round-edge squares I had previously cut gor no reason, and the blond in the window is a leftover from cutting a funny shape out of a red piece of paper. How I wish this all made sense...hahaha

Spread

A rootless, floating, and spinning tree who was spontaneously born, and whose branches keep spreading to nest all sorts of living beings...birds, flowers, fruits, and little monsters.
